Cisema attended RAPS Euro Convergence 2025 in Brussels, one of Europe’s leading gatherings for regulatory affairs professionals.

Throughout the conference, the Cisema team connected with medtech and pharmaceutical professionals from around the world to exchange perspectives and discuss regulatory compliance strategies across Europe, China, and Southeast Asia.

A recurring theme across the event was the growing influence of artificial intelligence in regulatory affairs and clinical development. Speakers explored how AI is already shaping regulatory submissions and R&D processes, while also debating whether its expanding role represents a fundamental shift in global innovation practices.

Cisema Presentations

Hamish King presented on the latest regulatory and clinical developments in China, highlighting key policy updates and their implications for companies seeking market access.

Cisema Business Development Director Stefanie Fasshauer also played an active role in the program. She moderated a panel discussion that brought together industry experts to examine evolving global regulatory challenges. In a separate session, Stefanie explored programs from the European Medicines Agency and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration designed to accelerate access for products addressing unmet medical needs, highlighting how companies can leverage fast-track regulatory pathways.

On the final day, Hamish King and Jacky Li presented on China’s upcoming 2025 regulatory reforms, including market access pathways through Hainan, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
