NMPA Fast-Track Approvals: New Overseas Applications Accepted and Domestic Approvals Passed
On September 30, the CMDE (Centre for Medical Device Evaluation) announced the following overseas applications accepted for prioritized review and approval:
- CooperVision’s soft (hydrophilic) contact lens
- BIOMERIEUX’s ceftazidime/avibactam test strips
In addition, Insight Lifetech has obtained two domestic product approvals via the special review procedure for innovative medical devices:
- Rapid exchange fractional flow reserve (FFR) microcatheters
- Cardiovascular pressure measurement system
