Certification obligation according to CCC for brake lining products from 01.06.2020
Beijing, 17.04.2020:
The certification authority SAMR (State Administration of Market Regulation of P.R. China) announced that from 01.06.2020 the certification obligation for brake lining products will be introduced. From this date, accredited certification organizations in China can accept applications.
From 01.06.2021 brake lining products without valid CCC certification are not allowed to be imported and distributed in China.
For companies that have already obtained voluntary product certification, existing certificates can be applied for conversion to CCC at the issuing Chinese certification organization until 01.01.2021. All certificates of a voluntary product certification that have not been converted by 01.06.2021 will be automatically cancelled by the authority SAMR.
Up to now, the certification authority CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration of P.R. China) has not yet published any implementation regulation. We expect this to happen in the next few weeks.
