CQC implements e-certificates for CCC and other certifications

Beijing, 19.03.2020:The China Quality Certification Center (CQC) published further support measures to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. It is also a step to improve efficiency.From 20.03.2020, certificates and confirmations, e.g. for CCC (China Compulsory Certification), voluntary product certification, RoHS, etc., will be issued as electronically signed documents. Paper prints will not be issued anymore.Already issued certificates will be exchanged in the process of future applications, e.g. if further models for an existing certificate are applied for.Other Chinese certification organizations have announced their intention to switch to electronic certificates as well.Related news: Chinese Certification Authorities published measures to support the containment of the Coronavirus Outbreak
