Implementation of standard GB 15083:2019 on 01.07.2020
The standard GB 15083:2019 about “Strength requirement and test of automobile seats, their anchorages and any head restraints” will be implemented on 01.07.2020. The previous revision GB 15083:2006 will be replaced accordingly.According to the specifications in the standard by the authority SAC (Standardization Administration of the P.R. China), the following provisions apply:• Vehicles or seats/headrests for which a new CCC certification (China Compulsory Certification) is applied for on or after 01.07.2020 must comply with the new revision.• Already certified models will be granted a transitional period of 13 months to update the existing certificates.Related news: China - 18 products no longer subject to CCC certification, 17 product groups added to the system of CCC manufacturer declaration
