NMPA (China Food and Drug Administration) has released the formal version of administrative measures on registration of infant formula milk powder on 08.06.2016. This regulation stipulates that one manufacturer may register up to nine baby milk products.The producers of both domestically manufactured and imported infant formula milk powder must have their registration certificate in hands by 01.01.2018. As the application and processing time for the certificates is around ten months, manufacturers should start the application as soon as possible in order to ascertain a continuous delivery.
